El Emunah - The Faithful God

By Kevin  Adderley El Emunah - The Faithful God We think we are faithful in all that we do, but we all occasionally miss deadlines, forget things or break promises. While confessing his sins; the writer of Palms 51 begged God not banish him from His presence or take his Holy Spirit away from. ( Psalm 51:11 ) As human beings, it is in our very nature to make mistakes. The bible says, “God is not a man, so He does not lie”. ( Numbers 23:19 NLT ) It is in this that we take comfort that “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” ( 1 John 1:9 KJV ) Understand, therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant…and lavishes [us with] His unfailing love…( Deuteronomy 7:9 NLT ). Our covenant was established through Christ’s death burial and resurrection; and El Emunah promises to keep His covenant. Amen!
